ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DEGREE
Category A: Senior High School (SHS) / Senior Secondary School (SSSCE) Certificate holders

Submit evidence of high school completion (Diploma).

Submit West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)/ West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) transcript or results.

Submit evidence of 2.00 high school cumulative GPA.

Submit evidence of completion of required units.

Submit non-refundable application fee.

Register and successfully pass AIGC/WAICT IT Vocational School Entrance Examination.
Freshman college students applying to SmartEdge Tech Academymust present evidence of having graduated from an accredited high school with a "C" (2.00) or better CGPA and thirteen (13) units of high school work.
Category B: (Year 2/3): Diploma Holders

Must possess a one / two years Diploma in IT from any NIIT center or any other recognized institution.

Must meet minimum entry requirements (A or B) for Year 1.

Must undergo one or more additional bridge courses based on the outcome of evaluation and mapping of the past curriculum.
Category C (Year 3): Associate Degree Holders

Applicants holding Associate Degree qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science can be permitted for advance standing/ lateral entry admission into Year 3 of the Program.

Not required to undergo for any entrance examination

Must submit their transcripts for evaluation for admittance into the third (3rd) year of the desired bachelor degree.
